Grassroute is officially live in beta across the South West. If you're involved in grassroots football - as a coach, volunteer, club admin, or just someone who keeps things running on a weekend morning - this is for you.
What is Grassroute?
Grassroute is a free platform that helps grassroots football clubs find each other, connect, and grow. No subscriptions. No hidden fees. Just a simple way to put your club on the map and discover what's happening around you.
You can:
- List your club with a full profile - teams, venues, age groups, kit colours, the lot
- Find other clubs nearby using our Discovery Hub and interactive map
- Browse tournaments and register your interest directly through the platform
- Propose friendlies to teams looking for opposition
- Message clubs without needing to track down an email address or phone number
Every club gets a public profile page that's searchable and shareable. Think of it as your club's home on the internet - without having to build a website.
Why beta? Why here?
We're starting small on purpose. Bristol, Gloucestershire and Somerset give us a concentrated area with a brilliant grassroots football community. Running a focused beta means we can get the platform right - with real feedback from real coaches, before opening it up nationally.
During the beta we're aiming to onboard as many clubs as possible across the region. Every club that joins now helps shape what Grassroute becomes. If something doesn't work for you, we want to hear about it. If there's a feature you need, tell us. This is your platform.
Not in our area yet?
We're expanding soon. If you're based outside Bristol, Gloucestershire and Somerset, you can join our waitlist during registration. We'll let you know the moment Grassroute launches in your area and you'll be first in line.
You can still browse the platform, explore clubs, and see how it works. You just can't create an account until we reach your region.
How to get started
It takes two minutes:

- Create your free account
- Set up your club profile, or claim an existing one
- Start discovering clubs, tournaments and match opportunities near you
That's it. No setup fees, no annual charges, no catch. Grassroute is free for grassroots clubs and always will be.
