Men's NLS Steps 1-6 and Women's Tiers 1-4: up to 70% of project cost, subject to tier-specific five-year cumulative caps. Men's caps range from £100,000 to £400,000; women's from £100,000 to £750,000. Newly promoted League Two clubs: up to 50% and £750,000 less qualifying previous investment. Check your tier and grant history; not for junior or Sunday-league clubs.

No deadline, but decisions take around 16 weeks - build that into your project timeline.

Constituted Club required

Not-for-profit clubs with at least three unrelated committee members. Decisions typically take 6 to 8 weeks. Apply at least 12 weeks before starting activity or spending money. Projects can last up to 12 months.

England, Scotland and Wales only. From April 2026 Persimmon has signalled a priority towards organisations supporting the over-70s - check current fit before applying.

Speak to your County FA or Foundation Delivery Manager before applying. Standalone routine maintenance, running costs and temporary structures are excluded. Stadium works for NLS Steps 1-6, Women's Tiers 1-4 and the Welsh Premier League are excluded; check planning and landlord consent requirements.

Temporary fencing, pitch perimeter barriers and work already started or purchased are excluded. Normally one application per season, unless agreed otherwise; multiple sites cannot share one application.

Goalposts must be bought in pairs from approved suppliers. Replacement parts or nets and items already ordered or purchased are excluded. For 3v3, only 4ft x 2.5ft goals qualify, with a minimum £400 grant and £533 project cost. A formal supplier quote is required; check club and pitch eligibility before applying.

Works must be recommended in a PitchPower assessment after other options have been exhausted. Routine maintenance and retrospective works are excluded. Piped drainage needs professional design; check tenure, landlord consent and any discharge permissions.

Requires a recent PitchPower assessment and eligible tenure or maintenance agreement. Two organisation members must complete the specified GMA Level 1 course before payment. Annual PitchPower inspections continue for ten years. Routine mowing, line marking, machinery purchases, salaries and replacement goalposts or nets are excluded.

Supports women's and girls' football through facility improvements or essential kit and equipment. Applicants can pursue either or both routes; check the separate criteria and current limits on the funder page.

For suitable training areas, with evidence they can withstand extra use. Grass matchplay pitches are excluded. Equipment must be insured and stored securely at the applicant's site, with trained operators over 18. Check any existing Football Foundation 3G partnership obligations.

Containers must stay securely at the applicant's site and be insured with their contents. The applicant remains liable during a five-year clawback period. Landlord consent may be required; planning permission or written confirmation it is unnecessary must be provided.

Constituted Club required

Open to schools, registered charities and not-for-profits supporting children and young people. Football projects only qualify where they match the healthy-food purpose; round mechanics are unclear, so check the funder page.
